It imports the birthdays already saved in your contacts and calendars, reminds you as far ahead as you like, and writes the message for you — for that person, in your tone, in their language. It opens WhatsApp, iMessage, SMS or email with the text in place. You always press send yourself.
birthdAI reads the birthday field on a contact, and yearly all-day calendar events. If a birthday is written into a contact's notes, or saved as a one-off event, it won't be found — add that person by hand instead. Holiday calendars and calendars you cannot edit are skipped on purpose, so that national holidays don't arrive as people.
Check that notifications are allowed for birthdAI in iOS Settings, and check the reminder time in the app's own Settings — reminders fire at the hour you chose, not at midnight. They are scheduled by your phone, so they work without a signal. If you are tracking a very large number of people, the soonest reminders are scheduled first and the rest are added as those fire.
Add notes about that person. Inside jokes, shared history, how the two of you actually talk. That is the difference between a greeting card and something only you could have sent. You can also change the tone, length and relationship, then ask for another draft.
The name you saved for that person, your relationship to them, the tone, length and language you chose, their age if you recorded a birth year, the name of the parent if you marked them as a child, and your notes about them. Never a phone number, an email address, your contact list, or anything identifying your device. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
Yes, for any person individually. Open that person, find Notes, and turn off note sharing — it is also on the message screen. Sharing is on by default, because notes are what make a message sound like you. With it off, that person's drafts are simply less specific.
No. Never, in any circumstance. birthdAI opens your messaging app with the text in place and stops there. There is no scheduled send and no automatic send, and this is deliberate — a message that arrived without you isn't from you.
Those two do not allow another app to fill in a message, so birthdAI copies the text to your clipboard and opens the app for you to paste. WhatsApp, iMessage, SMS and email all open with the message already written.
Yes. Reminders are scheduled on the phone and need no connection at all, and messages fall back to templates built into the app, in all six languages. The app tells you when a message came from a template rather than being written for you.
Export from Settings and save the file wherever you like — iCloud Drive, Files, an email to yourself. It never passes through us. Restoring merges rather than overwrites: anyone on the phone but not in the file is kept, and anyone you deleted stays deleted.
Delete a person and everything about them goes, including their message history. Delete the app and all of it goes. There is no account, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
Yes. No purchases, no subscriptions, no advertising.

birthdAI lee el campo cumpleaños de un contacto y los eventos anuales de día completo. Si la fecha está escrita en las notas del contacto, o guardada como un evento único, no la encontrará — agrega a esa persona a mano. Los calendarios de festivos y los que no puedes editar se omiten a propósito, para que los días festivos no lleguen como personas.
Revisa que las notificaciones estén permitidas para birthdAI en Ajustes de iOS, y revisa la hora de aviso dentro de la app — suenan a la hora que elegiste, no a medianoche. Los programa tu teléfono, así que funcionan sin señal. Si sigues a muchísimas personas, se programan primero los avisos más cercanos y el resto entran a medida que suenan.
Agrega notas sobre esa persona. Chistes internos, historia compartida, cómo se hablan de verdad. Esa es la diferencia entre una tarjeta y algo que solo tú podrías haber mandado. También puedes cambiar el tono, la longitud y la relación, y pedir otro borrador.
El nombre que guardaste de esa persona, tu relación con ella, el tono, la longitud y el idioma que elegiste, su edad si registraste el año de nacimiento, el nombre de su madre o padre si la marcaste como niña o niño, y tus notas sobre ella. Sí, para cada persona por separado. Abre a esa persona, busca Notas y desactiva el uso de las notas — también está en la pantalla del mensaje. Está activado por defecto, porque las notas son lo que hace que el mensaje suene a ti. Con eso apagado, sus borradores simplemente son menos específicos.
No. Nunca, bajo ninguna circunstancia. birthdAI abre tu app de mensajería con el texto puesto y ahí se detiene. No hay envío programado ni automático, y es a propósito — un mensaje que llegó sin ti no es tuyo.
Esos dos no permiten que otra app rellene un mensaje, así que birthdAI copia el texto al portapapeles y abre la app para que lo pegues. WhatsApp, iMessage, SMS y correo se abren con el mensaje ya escrito.
Sí. Los recordatorios se programan en el teléfono y no necesitan conexión, y los mensajes usan plantillas integradas en la app, en los seis idiomas. La app te avisa cuando un mensaje salió de una plantilla en vez de estar escrito para ti.
